Round 1 of the competition was busy with a total of 11 gymnasts competing. Although tumble and trampette aren’t the regular pieces our gymnasts tend to compete in all the gymnasts competed with confidence. After successfully competing their two different tumbles and two different trampette jumps the coaches and gymnasts were all pleased with the competition and awaited results. With lots of gymnasts across the region competing and a couple of wobbles the competition was tough and the gymnasts all did really well. A special mention was to Tegan Fookes who finished with a gold medal.
Round 2 saw even more gymnasts competing and again although the gymnasts aren’t too used to competing a tumble and trampette jumps, they all competed with poise and elegance. All gymnasts competed to the best of their ability with ease, and all came away with a medal. A very successful round of competition for Woking, with mention to Esme Finch, Frederick Mushrafi, Josh Lines and Archie Johnson who all came away with gold medals.
Woking’s team of 25 gymnasts performed very well and resulted in Woking receiving 5 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 5 bronze medals!
Well done to all those who competed!
