The South East qualifiers took place on Sunday 16th October at Pegasus Gymnastics Club, Woking had 17 boys competing. A number of boys were competing in their first regional competition as guests to gain valuable experience for the future.
Jude Rawlings, Harvey Holland, Sam Arnold, Joe Roberts and William Tombs were competing in their first regional qualifiers as Club Level 1 guests. Sam finished first scoring 58.050, Harvey 2nd scoring 57.300, Joe 3rd scoring 54.500, and William Tombs and Jude finished equal 5th scoring 52.850.
William Brierley competed in the Level 1 Elite guest age category, he performed admirably in his first regional qualifiers finishing 2nd scoring 55.950.
William Middleton competed in the Level 1 Elite age category finishing an amazing 1st place and being crowned South East Elite Level 1 Champion. William will now be representing the South East in the Grade Finals in December.
Mac Griffiths competed in the Level 2 Elite age group and competed well, finishing 4th scoring 56.100 also qualifying for the Grade Finals.
Fionn Kelly and Declan Freeman competed in the Club Level 2 category with Fionn finishing 2nd scoring 62.700 and Declan finishing 3rd scoring 62.550, both qualifying for Grade Finals.
Caden O’Shea and Eden Marlow competed in the Club Grade Level 3. Caden finished 5th scoring 61.900 and qualified for the South East Team. Eden finished 9th scoring 59.400.
Oscar Mitchell competed in the Club Level 4 category scoring 59.400 and finishing 2nd place, qualifying for Grade Finals in December.
Jay Coote and Max Veo-Creek competed in the Club Level 5 category with Jay finishing 2nd scoring 61.950 and Max finished 5th scoring 58.300. Jay qualified for the Finals.
Ben Porter competed in the Elite Level 5 category scoring 55.250 and being crowned South East Level 5 Elite champion. Ben also qualified for the Finals in December.
