South East Pre Grades Championship

The Guildford Spectrum hosted once again the South East Pre Grades Championship 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity for gymnasts following the National Development Plan to try out their routines prior the Regional Qualifier later in March and April.

 Woking GC sent out the next generation of future stars and they had a job to do following the success of the older squad members last year and they indeed rose to the occasion. In a very strong line up in Club Grades 6 Alice Saunders, Ottie Greaves and Zara Wright competed with confidence and poise producing fifteen clean routines between them to all end up in top 10 All Around with Alice scoring whooping 60.700 points.

Next up in Compulsory 5 was Leila Zinman. Powerful and confident performance across all pieces in particular on Vault, where she ended up with 3rd highest score and 5th All Around in a very demanding competitive program.

Last but not least was Georgia Fookes. Elegance and style are two words to describe Georgia’s performance and only a few wobbles on Beam kept her off a podium place in the All Around competition. However Georgia topped the ranking on Bars with impressive score of 12.850 points.
