Rushmoor Rose Bowl 2022

 Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy, Aldershot once again hosted the 41st edition of one of the most prestigious domestic international competitions – Rushmoor Rose Bowl 2022 – over the weekend of 22-23rd October.

Fielded with two England national teams, Salto Gymnastics from Northern Ireland and some of the finest British clubs, the competition, although friendly, promised to be fierce.

 After a successful Regional Qualifier our very own Maggie Rees and Lily Clarke Moss were selected to represent Team Surrey.

Despite the tough draw, starting on Beam, the girls held their nerve and performed steady and solid routines. Floor to follow, where the girls showed a mix of beautiful dance combined with difficult tumbles. It was Vault however, where after an incredible vault Lily posted a score of 12.20 clinching a place in the top 15 out of 70 gymnasts. They then both went clean on Bars to score a total of 41.68 for Lily and 40.26 for Maggie Rees.

Both contributed greatly towards the 5th place finish for Team Surrey in the composite section of Rose Bowl 2022.
