We would like to invite you to parents viewing week. This gives parents the opportunity to come in a view one of their child’s sessions to see how they are getting on.
We have split the viewing of classes over two weeks, please see the table below for which week you should stay and watch. Unfortunately we do not have a lot of space so you will only be able to attend the week your class has been allocated. Seating will be limited so we ask that only one adult per child in the class attends.
There will be other recreational and squad classes running alongside your child’s so we ask you to be considerate when entering the gym and abide by the following rules:
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Woking Gymnastics Club
Woking Gymnastics Club is the most successful artistic gymnastics club in the South East region!
We are so proud of both our elite squads for being awarded the President Trophies at their recent regional competitions! South East gymnastics award the trophies each year to the most successful men’s and women’s artistic clubs in the region, with both our men's and women’s squads winning together for the first time this year.
Congratulations to our men’s artistic squad for winning this award for their third consecutive year.
A big well done to all our squad coaches!
Woking Gymnastics Club is thrilled to have three of our members attending the Junior European Championships from 2nd - 12th July 2018!
We would like to congratulate Jamie Lewis for being selected for the men’s junior Great British team! Well done also to Jamie’s coach, Simon Elliott who will be the coach for Team GB! Finally, we would like to congratulate coach and judge, Craig Woodhams for being selected to judge at the event in Glasgow!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our tea and cake sale last week. We are really pleased to have raised £264.00 for the club! We would also like to thank all of our squad gymnasts and parents for donating cakes!
Thank you to everyone who was involved in our sponsored bounce week this year!
We raised a total of £1547.50 which has helped us to purchase new foam for the pit costing us £1675.80
Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to all our members for your continued support!
On Saturday 28th April, Woking Gymnastics Club was delighted to welcome Ray Morgan, Chief Executive of Woking Borough Council, to the club to provide an update on our relocation plans.
It was great for our staff members to hear about the progress of our potential new facility at Ten Acre and we are all very excited about the prospect of a brand new, bigger facility for all our gymnasts and members of the community! Progress with the planning application has been extremely positive and well received, and we are hoping to hear the outcome of this planning application towards the end of June 2018. If all goes to plan, Ray explained that we are looking for construction to start in October 2018 and be ready to move by Winter 2019!
All staff and trustees of Woking Gymnastics Club are so thankful to have the support of Woking Borough Council and look forward to the coming months of planning!
