All of our recreational gymnasts will be participating in badge testing during their normal weekly class between Monday 4th February and Friday 15th February 2019. Badge testing is a great opportunity for your gymnast to see how they have progressed. Each gymnast will be tested on the next level within our badge system, if they achieve 8 out of the 10 skills on an apparatus in the same level they will be eligible to receive a certificate. Once all 4 certificates have been achieved in the same level they will also be presented with their badge.
A copy of our badge system can be found on our website under recreational classes.
All children will be tested on 2 apparatus in the first week and 2 the second, please try and make sure they attends all of their usual sessions during badge testing to ensure they are tested on all 4 apparatus. Unfortunately if they are absent for a session during badge testing we cannot offer a makeup session.
During parents viewing weeks we will be giving out slips to all gymnast who have participated in badge testing. This will inform you if your child has passed a certificate. Should you wish to purchase any passed certificates please return the original slip along with payment of £1.00 per certificate to the desk. All certificates will be given out during the last week of term. Any remaining certificates will be available for collection from our reception desk.

Taking place on the 26th January 2019 at Birmingham Town Hall, the evening will recognise and celebrate the achievements of the most inspirational people within our gymnastics community.
The Equality and Inclusion Award goes to an individual or club that has made a significant contribution to equality and diversity through the delivery of a quality inclusive gymnastics programme; down to the final three for the award are Kelly Morrow (Club GymFun), Nuneaton Gymnastics Club and Woking Gymnastics Club.
We would like to invite you to parents viewing week. This gives parents the opportunity to come in a view one of their child’s sessions to see how they are getting on.
We have split the viewing of classes over two weeks, please see the table below for which week you should stay and watch. Unfortunately we do not have a lot of space so you will only be able to attend the week your class has been allocated. Seating will be limited so we ask that only one adult per child in the class attends.
There will be other recreational and squad classes running alongside your child’s so we ask you to be considerate when entering the gym and abide by the following rules:
