On Friday 1st, Jonjo Bennetts competed in the Development Level 2 competition, finishing 15th scoring 62.6 and the South East Team finishing 2nd.
Lorenzo Carrozzo competed in Development Level 5 finishing an amazing 2nd scoring an impressive 64.75 and the Team finishing 1st. Lorenzo performed so well he has been invited to a National Reward Training Camp at the National Sports Centre in Lilleshall later in the year. Well done!
Timothy McCarthy competed in the Development Level 6 finishing 5th scoring 60.8.
On Saturday 2nd, Owen Turner and Fraser Griffiths competed in the Development Level 3 competition. Owen finished 15th scoring 60.48 and Fraser finished 18th scoring 59.58 and their South East Team finished 2nd.
James Miller competed in the Development Level 4 finishing 13th scoring 61.6 and the South East Team finishing 1st.
Jasper Smith-Gordon competed in the Elite Level 3 and unfortunately made an error on his first apparatus scoring a 0.0. But, Jasper came back strongly to finish 19th scoring 56.455 and helping the South East Team finish 2nd. Credit to Jasper for keeping his composure to help the team gain an impressive silver medal.
Jamie Lewis competed in the Elite Level 5 finishing 1st scoring 73.9 and finishing 4.75 marks above the 2nd place gymnast! He performed his routines with such style and accuracy and helped his South East Team finish 1st. Well done Jamie, you are an example to all other gymnasts in the South East Region!
On Sunday 3rd Christian Fuoco, Laurence Butler and Charlie Rose competed in the Elite Level 1 competition. Christian finished 14th scoring 69.4, Laurence finished 17th scoring 68.85 and Charlie finished 30th scoring 64.35. The South East Team narrowly missed out on a medal finishing 4th, less than 0.2 from 3rd.
