James Miller was first to compete in the Level 5 Development Age Category. James performed very well finishing 7th scoring 61.750. James’ South East Team finished 2nd.
On Saturday the Elite competitions got under way. In the Elite Level 4 Jasper Smith-Gordon and Fraser Griffiths competed. Jasper made a couple of errors on Parallel Bar and Rings which unfortunately cost him a medal finishing in 8th scoring 67.075. Fraser competing in his first Elite Grade Finals competed very well finishing 14th scoring 61.325. The South East Team also finished 2nd.
In the Elite Level 6 Jamie Lewis and Lorenzo Carrozzo competed for the South East. Jamie performed some very difficult routines with a style and accuracy nobody else could come close to. Jamie finished 1st scoring 73.650, well over 6 marks ahead of 2nd. Lorenzo made some costly errors finishing 9th scoring 60.250. The South East Team finished 1st.
On Sunday the Elite Level 2 age category had Laurence Butler, Christian Fuoco and Charlie Rose competing for the South East. Laurence finished 21st scoring 67.975, Christian finished 36th scoring 60.975 and Charlie finished 38th scoring 59.80. Their Team finished 5th.
Finally the Elite Level 1 competition began with Joshua Porter competing for the South East. Josh performed brilliantly finishing 6th scoring 71.500. The South East Level 1 Team finished 4th.
