Saturday May 9th proved to be a very busy day for the WGC Girl's Elite Squad with four members travelling to Cardiff with coach, Natalie Reeve whilst the remainder stayed behind to participate in the Club Championships. It was an impressive startlist with many of the country's top gymnasts also making the journey.
In the 12/13 years Espoirs event, Bethan Evans put in a credible performance to finish 11th overall scoring a PB of 48.50 in the process. Lauren Smith also notched up a PB to finish 7th overall with 49.733. Her acrobatic abilities shone through as she won Gold on floor with 13.233 and the Silver on Vault with 13.125. Nadia Hansell & Clare Maurer competed in the 14/15 years Junior event with Nadia placing 8th with 46.733 and Clare 13th with 43.933.
